Tonight
*I am so thankful for my sweet husband. Who was willing to stay home
with the not-feeling-so-well 6 year old because he knew I was so desperate
to worship.
*I cried during worship.
*I found a great price for my flight to Texas in March.
*I was once again reminded that I am a highly favored daughter of the King.
*I watched a little TV.
*I made mini-burgers for dinner and they were YUMM-O!
*I am praying for good friends. Ones that want to sell thier homes, create new life
and ones that are having other struggles.
*I am thankful for an awesome God(one that loves me even though I crashed on day 13 of my fast)
*at church, someone came up to me and said "today you really popped into my head, God just put you on my heart and I think it was something about a house"..(I hope so! and WOW)
*PCM really knocked it out of the park with the "Hard Questions".. you can hear it at www.getreslife.org
*Kari Jobe is playing through my Blackberry and I am LOVING her music. My favorite is "sweep me away" and "I'm singing"...if you have never heard of her-search her out! her music is AMAZING..
I am off to bed. To hopefully sleep all night. I'm praying my sweet boy- who is really having a hard time, gets to sleep a little bit tonight.
Be blessed!

Right now..
*The dryer is running with the 4th load of the day.
*Clean towels are folded on my couch with hopes that they'll take
care of themselves..
*A pork loin is in the crockpot and smelling DE-licious.
*My little boy is cuddled up in a blankie in the chair with
a scratchy throat, cough, and runny nose.
*Scooby-Doo is playing on the TV. Something about Scooby-Doo
shows to make a little boy feel better!
*I'm sleepy. I really wish the 6 year old would take a nap!
*the puppies are wrestling in the living room. We are SO desperately
in need of a bigger house.
*The mail just arrived. All bills. Yippee...
*I'm thinking about making brownies for dessert.
*Algebra homework is getting harder and harder.

We've been doing some chatting, eating, shopping, movie watching and even a little scrapping!
Here are a few layouts I've done today. Here are a few glimpses of what a table looks like when there are 3 girls scrapbooking!

Right Now...
*I'm watching Juno. I love this movie for many reasons.
I love her sense of humor and the funky music. But mainly
I love that she chose life!
*The smell of my birthday carrot cake is filling the house.
I can't wait to have a bite of the yummy-ness.
I have a great husband..
*Daniel is playing quietly in his room with his Playmobil
collection. Its funny to listen to him as he plays police-man,
and knights and pirates with these special toys. I love his
imagination.
*I have a chocolate and a black puppy sleeping on both
sides of me. Snoring. Drooling. And I? love it!
*I'm thinking of all I need to get done to prep for painting
next week. Excited for the final renovation projects. Ready
to be done COMPLETELY with our house!
*The song "moving forward" is playing in the background.
I love this song.
*all of my Christmas decorations have been taken down and
stored away for next year. This makes me happy. This Christmas
was pretty rough on me. I welcomed January with open arms.
*I am excited for the promises this year is going to bring.
Very excited to see where we end up.
*I have been reading through Genesis and a daily Proverb.
Through this I am getting some amazing words from Father.
*I am thinking that cake has to be almost done......

The Big 32.
Happy Birthday to me!
Thank you to all my friends for
all the great birthday wishes.
Its been a low-key day for me.
lunch with a great friend(thanks Ruth)
and then dinner with my fellas.
Tomorrow my husband promises to make
my favorite dessert-carrot cake!.
I'm counting the days for this weekend.
Excited to spend a few days hanging out with the girls.
Looking forward to a couple days
of scrapping, nap-taking, movie watching,
snack eating and "warm chatter"
So good for the soul.
My right-now-favorite blog is A year of slow cooking.
I have tried several of these recipes and LOVE
them! Check out the blog and I'm sure you will fall in love!
Tomorrow night I am trying crock-pot lasagna.
Ive never tried lasagna in a crock-pot and I'm anxious
to see what the Italian in my sweet husband has to
say about it.

Day 2.
Our church each year has a 21 day fast.
A great way to start the year out
and this year, for the first time-I am participating.
I am fasting a few things.
Nothing big and most people would laugh because they seem small.
But they are big things.
Things that are in the way.
In the way of God in my life.
In the way of my time with Him.
He's funny about that.
He's a gentleman, but when He wants our attention,
we need to really give it to Him!
Right now He is doing some "house-cleaning" in me.
And at times I love it. I jump up and down in tears
and I'm so excited to share it with someone.
Then, at other times..it hurts.
and He takes me places I really don't want to be.
Places I was fine pushing down and leaving alone.
Places that I didn't realize were so desperately in need of healing.
And honestly, its NO fun.
But I am trusting in Him.
I know that my "awesomeness" is right around the corner.
I can feel it.
He will lead me.
I just have to make sure that as I follow,
nothing gets in my way.
This fast that I'm doing.
Instead of reaching for the few things I'm fasting,
I read my Bible.
The past few days I've been lead to read Genesis
in addition to the other reading I do.
He's taking me to the beginning.
Sometimes He does that in various ways.
Takes us back to the beginning.
Back to basics.
I'm loving it.
