I can do all things through Christ!

God will never leave me or forsake me

I am MORE than a conqueror!

I live by Faith, Not by sight!

I am no longer a Slave, But a Daughter!

I am a new creation

I am what I am by the Grace of God

I am fearfully and wonderfully made

If God is for me, Who can be against me?

I have the mind of Christ!

These promises fill the left side mirror of my bathroom. Its my side of the sink, so often I find myself taking up Steve's:) However, every morning I am reminded of WHO I am and WHOSE I am..I love it. Especially on the mornings when I wake up and the "bully" has already started his work in me. Gods promises are true EVERY DAY!!

Sunday Night

My heart is heavy.

Families all around us are hurting and for that, I'm sad.
I'm not carrying around thier hurts or holding onto them,
I just have a tremedous amount of compassion.
We have friends hanging onto their marriages for dear life.
Ones who are losing homes. Losing jobs.
Family members who have lost children.
I am thankful for a God who is merciful.
I am thankful for a God who provides.

There is a battle on right now.
We are in the middle of it.
Right now we're seeing what everyone's made of.
Are we going to stand strong? Draw our swords and
be ready to fight? Or will we run...
I myself am righteously ticked off.
The best part of this? Everything the devil
has stolen, Father will make him give back
10 Times...

In the middle of a ranch in Texas, a very wise woman
told me a very beautiful piece of advice.
"Some battles are glorious and some are bloody...
wait for the glory"..
well, right now-its not so glorious.
I can see God in all of it,
but right now, the battle is bloody.
She was right when she said that,
the glory is right around the corner.
His love never fails.
God is still God in all of this.
He is the Alpha and Omega.
The begining and the end.

When I say I am a Christian..

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I get lost!"
"That is why I chose this way."

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weakand pray for strength to carry on.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failedand cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved

Life has been crazy.
I'm here. Still alive and still blogging. Just haven't "Posted" any of my posts live
lately. A lot of thoughts running around in my head...have to gather them and
post something soon
